The license works on the honor system: one teacher signs in, and up to 30 students read under that login. We trust teachers.

What devices can we read on?
Any device with a modern web browser — iPads and tablets, Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, and phones. There’s nothing to install; the books open right in the browser. On phones and tablets held upright, the reader shows one page at a time.
How many students can read at once?
Up to 30 — and unlike a paper set, every student can read the same title at the same time. Seat counts are on the honor system: one teacher login, shared with the students in your class.
How long does a membership last? Does it renew automatically?
Twelve months from the day you purchase, and no — it never auto-renews and we never store a card. Renewing is as simple as purchasing again, and the reading progress on your classroom devices carries right over.
Are the books downloads or PDFs we keep?
No — eBooks are read online, cover to cover, in our page-turning reader. There are no files to download, store, or lose track of, so you’ll need an internet connection to read.
Which books are included?
All 75 MaryRuth Books eBook titles: 56 fiction — including the Danny and Friends series — and 19 nonfiction, across guided reading levels A–I with Reading Recovery® levels noted on every book. You can read two complete titles free on our book samples page.
How do my students sign in?
They don’t — no accounts, no passwords. Students just go to maryruthbooks.com/classroom and type your class code (it looks like DANNY-4287; find yours under Classroom access on your library page). Each device remembers the class after its first visit, so the code is a type-it-once setup. Prefer links? The same panel has a classroom link and QR code too. Either way, access keeps working until your membership ends — even when school devices get wiped.
Do you accept school purchase orders?
Yes. Request a quote and we’ll prepare everything your office needs.
Can I share the library with another teacher?
Each membership is for one teacher’s classroom. Colleagues each get their own membership — or request a quote and we’ll set up your whole school at once.
