In the In the Woods with Danny and Bee Set, Danny and Bee explore the same area of the local woods during spring, summer, autumn, and winter. During their walks, they observe the seasonal changes the plants and animals make. The set is an easy way to gently introduce young readers to the sciences that study the natural world and the relationships between organisms and their environments. Each book features original photography, has a glossary of new terms, and instructions for young explorers on how to make a paperbag field journal to take with them when they do their own exploring.
